A mysterious Phantom is also present. Mason's plan to expose Ryan as an outlaw and to force him to turn his share to Janet works. - A lawman sets out to tame Tombstone, Arizona. Traveling west, former peace officer Frame Johnson and his three friends arrive in Tombstone, a lawless town controlled by the three Northrup brothers. Preceded by his reputation, the town Council tries to get him to take the job of Marshal. He says he will not wear a badge again but seeing the ruthless Northrup murders he accepts. - John Drury saves Duke, a wild horse accused of murder, and trains him. John Drury agrees to look for the outlaw known as the Hawk and Henry Simms volunteers to help him. But Simms is the Hawk and he leaves Drury on the desert to die. Simms then kills a man and plants John's harmonica at the scene. With the help of his horse Duke, John returns only to find that he is accused of murder and about to face the hanging Judge. • Kauboj i njegov hrabri konj suočavaju se sa okrutnim pljačkašem. Rimejk vesterna snimljenog 1926. godine, Nepoznati konjanik (The Unknown Cavalier), ujedno i prvi film iz serijala o avanturama Džona Vejna i divljeg konja, Djuka. Džon Druri (J. Wayne), vešti kauboj, spasi Djuka, divljeg konja kog stanovnici malog gradića smatraju posebno opasnim. Ovim Džon stekne zahvalnost grada, ali i naklonost šarmantne Rut Gaunt (R. Hall). Ali Djuk nije jedini problem kog stanovnici gradića imaju, tu je i opasni pljačkaš i ubica, Hauk (F. Hagney). Ne želeći da ih ostavi u nevolji Džon odluči da pomogne građanima u lovu na kriminalca.
